A couple weeks ago I was able to get away for a refreshing weekend in God’s Word at a women’s conference with the theme “Living Stones.” Spending a little time away from my beautiful girls was a great idea, and thanks to my very capable husband, I had nothing to worry about.
”Daddy’s Rules” for smooth household operation while Mom is away:
1. Make sure to have lots of ice cream on hand
2. And donuts
3. Plan fun things to do
4. Enlist Grandma
5. Roll with the chaos
and…
6. Sing them to sleep.
